At vertisol we are excited and proud to present our latest innovations in sun protection fabrics at the leading trade fair in the sector, R+T Stuttgart 2024. In this new edition, we highlight the collections designed for outdoor spaces, where durability and resistance are essential.
Screen Fabrics with Fiberglass Core for Increased Strength and Durability
Our newest fabrics, Stone FG 5 and Silex FG, have been developed with a fiberglass core. Their composition ensures exceptional durability and dimensional stability. Both fabrics are designed to withstand the most demanding climatic conditions, ideal for extreme temperature changes and high sun exposure locations.
Collections made from fiberglass keep the fabric firm and flat, making them the best choice for zip curtains, with a drawer and a zipper guide. These fabrics provide inherent visual comfort for outdoor spaces.
Both Stone FG 5 and Silex FG have an opening factor of 5%, allowing light to enter. In addition, they comply with the strictest fire certifications.
Blend: A New Concept for Awning Fabrics
The experience of more than 40 years in weaving allows us to continue innovating and expanding the collection of fabrics. Blend is born, a fabric specially designed to resist sunlight and maintain its firmness and solidity. The combination of vertisol yarns together with acrylic fibers confers great resistance and durability, ideal for outdoor spaces.
Blend meets the most demanding standards and stands out for its pleasant feel and design. It adds a distinctive touch of style and elegance to any outdoor space. In addition, the new vertisol awning fabric is OEKO-TEX certified, guaranteeing that it is free of substances that are harmful to health. This certification also requires compliance with control standards in the production process. In this way, it contributes to the introduction of sustainable and quality products on the market.
Environmentally Responsible Fabrics
The textile industry faces the problem of being one of the largest consumers of water. Both scarcity and mismanagement have led to it being one of the main concerns in our sector. At vertisol we have been implementing a production process with zero water consumption for nearly 20 years. How? With a cooling system for the manufacture of our yarn in a closed circuit.
