The Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for Polyscreen® range and recycled PET fabrics Planet FR, EcoPlanet FR and EcoPlanet FR SRC has been recently published at International EPD® System Environdec. Their registration numbers are respectively S-P-01098  and S-P-01099 The International EPD® System is based on ISO 14025 (environmental declarations) and relevant EPDs and PCRs are compliant with the European standard EN 15804. Their corresponding French FDES are also published at INIES website, with registration numbers 01-1321:2018 and 01-1331:2018 to 01-1338:2018. An EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) is an independently verified and registered document that communicates transparent and comparable information about the life-cycle environmental impact of products. EPDs and carbon footprint calculation include an analysis of materials and energy use, emissions to the atmosphere and waste processing as well as the contribution of the product to controlling health risks and quality of life inside buildings. The disclosure of information related to the life cycle of our products supports our efforts to produce durable, energy-efficient product that help our customers reduce energy consumption, lower utility costs, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Green building certification systems, such LEED, BREEAM, Green Star and HQE give benefits for projects where EPDs are available in order to encourage the use of products with life-cycle information.
