vertisol’s acoustic panel, PLEC WALL by Odosdesign, is the winner of Archiproducts Design Awards (ADA) 2021 in the Office category. In the sixth edition, 850 products were in contest in 15 different categories. The ADA Night Party, were all the winners will receive the trophy it will be on Thursday November 25th at Megawatt Court in Milan. vertisol’s CEO, Eduardo Garcia, and the product designer and Odosdesign managing partner, Luis Calabuig will assist to the meeting.
PLEC WALL soundproofs, divides, customizes and protects. PLEC meets the new requirements for public spaces, both offices and restaurants. This is a phone wall, a flexible space divider that improves acoustic qualities and also includes vinyl textile fabric which allows for easy total disinfection. In this way, it meets the needs of post-pandemic era. Plec has also been designed as a decorative solution, improving the aesthetics of the space and integrating naturally.
The design solution is based on a book, a simple system with two hinges, allowing it to be arranged and used in an infinite number of ways. From a 2D system it can be changed into three-dimensional shapes adapted to different uses (separators, sound insulators, creating private spaces, decoration, phone box, etc.). It can also be easily reconfigured, allowing the layout of a space to be altered quickly, adding flexibility through agile and accessible solutions.
Thanks to its vertisol‘s high perfomance fabrics it’s easy to disinfect and clean. It has a light, agile and no tools needed resetting system. Materials used has sound absorbing features and offers an acoustic comfort with a 0,95 Alpha Coefficent.
