Sustainable buildings guarantee people’s well-being, and that is why we are committed to the manufacture of fabrics made from 100% recycled materials. A clear example are those produced with post-consumer recycled polyester (PET) bottle yarns from selective collection. These are Cradle to Cradle™ (C2C) certified, one of the strictest certifications in terms of sustainability that encourages product innovation based on the circular economy, taking into account factors such as: healthy composition, reuse of materials, use of water and energy in the manufacturing process, and social responsibility.
Pledge FR fabric is the first of vertisol’s collection of recycled fabrics to achieve Silver level Cradle to Cradle Certification (C2C). In addition to Pledge FR, vertisol has four other Cradle to Cradle™ Bronze certified fabrics: Planet FR, SeaPlanet FR, Ecoplanet FR and Ecoplanet FR SRC.

At vertisol we manufacture fabrics from renewable sources such as our Pledge FR fabric, which is mostly made from PLA (polylactic acid) and contains a significant amount of recycled PET.
Pledge FR is manufactured with an innovative technology and is a fabric free of components such as PVC, halogen, formaldehyde or lead, at the same time as meeting the highest fire protection standards.

Another important characteristic of Planet FR is its acoustic absorption, which is vital in crowded spaces. Planet FR absorbs part of the circulating noise and dampen sound-wave propagation. The weighted sound absorption coefficient (αW) of Planet FR is 0.45 to 0.60, depending on the fabric installation.
It is estimated that 75% of the waste is in the depths of the sea and only 25% in on the surface. For every kilo of filament, we remove 1 kilo of trash from the depths of the sea.
SeaPlanet FR is produced from 100% recycled PET. Its filament contains recycled plastic collected at the bottom of the sea. With SeaPlanet FR we help to clean the ocean at the same time we offer to our customers a technical textile solution for the manufacturing of roller blinds.
The yarns we manufacture from recycled polyester have the same quality and identical characteristics as those produced from virgin raw materials. Thanks to this we obtain products such as Planet FR, EcoPlanet FR and EcoPlanet FR SRC, fabrics for sun protection, smooth and semi-transparent made from recycled PET.
A square meter of EcoPlanet FR and Planet FR is made of 4-6 thrown away bottles.
